We recommend always using eye and hand protection, especially when drilling holes in metal where the metal comes out of the hole is in long sharp strips.
These instructions are merely recommendations based on our experience. We recommend performing tests prior to use for each new type of application or surface to be treated. Würth Chile cannot be held liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly resulting from application.
Tool designed for heavy-duty work. Ideal for drilling holes in all types of materials, such as: metal, wood, stone, plastic etc. using drill bits designed for every purpose. Recommended for assembly work, automotive electrical installations, industrial lines, workshops etc. Can be used with other types of cutting tools or polishing devices or for sanding with coated abrasive products.
Before connecting the hose, apply 4 to 5 drops of good-quality pneumatic oil to the air inlet. Re-lubricate after 3 to 4 hours of use. Select the right drill bit, insert the shank all the way into the drill chuck and adjust the drill chuck to make sure the shank is securely held in the centre of the three jaws. Always make sure that the material to be drilled is firmly held to prevent movement. Always adopt a firm, comfortable posture when drilling to counteract any sudden drill bit movement due to torsional reaction. We also recommend that you drill a smaller diameter hole first when drilling large holes, as this reduces the effort needed to drill the large diameter hole and minimises torsional reaction.
