The latest generation of Performance stepped drill bits for longer service lives, significantly faster drilling with smooth running and greatly reduced formation of burrs when processing thin workpieces made from conventional steel with a strength of up to 900 N/mm2, aluminium, cast iron, brass, bronze, wood and plastics.
4 times longer service life
Compared to comparable bare stepped drill bits
Improved centring and up to 100% faster spot drilling
Exclusive Speed grinding
Acceleration of the overall drilling process
Significantly lower feed forces
Optimised cutting geometry
- Completely smooth running without getting caught in the workpiece
- No distortion of sheet metal
- Improved roundness of the hole
- Greatly reduced formation of burrs on the edges
Up to 80% reduction in force exerted on the tool during the drilling process
Optimised cutting profile with smoother transitions between the individual stages
3-face shank
- No twisting in the drill chuck: faster, more comfortable working
- Optimum transmission of forces
- Protection of the drill chuck from damage
- Little effort required to open and close the drill chuck

Application area
- Centring, drilling, core drilling and deburring of sheet metal, pipes and profiles in a single step, when using both hand drills and stationary equipment.
- The latest generation of Performance stepped drill bits are ideal for processing sheet metal, panels, profiles and pipes made from conventional unalloyed steel with a strength of up to 900 N/mm2, aluminium, cast iron, brass, bronze, wood and plastics with a thickness of up to 4.0 mm. Alloyed steels with strengths of up to 900 N/mm2 can be processed up to a thickness of 2.0 mm.
Instructions
- Ensure that there is sufficient cooling/lubrication
- Make sure that the feed is even
- Observe the speed table
- Do not push during core drilling – the stepped drill bit will automatically retract into the sheet metal
